We are excited to announce the general availability of Device42 v15.05.00 with the following changes:

Oracle Virtualization Auto-Discovery

We have added the ability to discover virtual machines hosted on Oracle’s hypervisor. To schedule a new Auto-discovery job for an Oracle VM, navigate to Discovery > Hypervisors/*nix/Windows and choose “Oracle VM” as the discovery platform:

Secret password masking

We have changed the password fields found across the Secrets pages to mask passwords as they are being entered. You may continue to peek at those passwords by utilizing the eye icon to enable and disable visibility.

Part asset number and cables on global search

You can now search for a part by asset number in the global search fields as well as the parts list page. Find the parts list under Datacenter > Parts > Parts List. In addition, you may now also search for cables using a cable ID, a vendor name, and/or a custom field.

Certificate serial #

We have added the Certificate serial number to the certificate list page. Visit the certificates list page from Apps > Certificates > Certificates.

This release adds SNMP discovery support for Exagrid devices. Schedule an SNMP Autodiscovery job for your Exagrid and other SNMP-based devices by navigating to Discovery > SNMP.

Bug fixes
